"Cyrano" is an upcoming American-British musical drama directed by Joe Wright and written by Erica Schmidt, based on Schmidt's 2018 stage musical of the same name - itself based on the 1897 Edmond Rostand play, "Cyrano de Bergerac". The film stars Peter Dinklage, Haley Bennett, Ben Mendelsohn, Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Brian Tyree Henry.

Aaron Dessner follows up his 2021 Grammy Award win for Album of the Year (Taylor Swift's "Folklore") with the soundtrack to "Cyrano". Featuring music co-written with brother Bryce Dessner, and lyrics by the National bandmate Matt Berringer and composer Carin Besser, this expansive score, recorded at Abbey Road, evokes the tone of the National, enhancing the film’s beauty, romance, and raw emotion.
