It'd been six years, an epoch in metal years, since Raleigh's Corrosion Of Conformity had released an album when they unleashed "Blind" on an unsuspecting public in 1991. CoC stalwarts Woody Weatherman and Reed Mullin were joined by a trio of fresh faces for their bow on Relativity Records, including rhythm guitarist Pepper Keenan.
Their follow-up to the thrash classic "Animosity" saw CoC embrace their Southern roots, and establish, along with the Melvins and Buzzoven, the soon-to-be beloved subgenre of sludge metal. Century Media presents this 30th anniversary reissue of the classic metal record, featuring a cover by Bill Sienkiewicz and pressed on 180gram pink & black vinyl.
